Thermometers

This week in the Science Lab was all about thermometers. The students were able to create one that measures heat. We can watch the water travel up as it gets warmer. We practiced reading a thermometer and talked about what kind of weather different temperatures bring. We also read real thermometers and recorded the temperatures of different spots on the playground. Boy was it a not day! It was 80 degrees in the shade this morning!
