Dear Parents and Students,
Thank you so much for making me feel so special this week. I loved getting all of your cards. The are so fun to read! I will enjoy all of my favorite snacks for the rest of the year thanks to your generosity. I was overwhelmed by all of the beautiful flowers. Our classroom looks like a garden! Thanks for all of the supplies! We are set for the rest of the school year.Even though this is teacher appreciation week, I would like to take the time to tell you how much I appreciate you.Thank you for all of your hard work, dedication, and effort. You make my job fun!

Teddy Bear Day

Our class celebrated our study of Theodore Roosevelt this week by having teddy bear day. The students learned the legend of the teddy bear (ask them how it got it's name), did math with gummy bears, measured and compared our bears, and read 2 bear stories. As a class we found how those bear stories were the same and different using a venn diagram.

Gimme FIve

Dear Parents,

This year our school is participating in the “Gimme 5 for Education” campaign to raise funds for the Cobb Schools Foundation!  A portion of these funds will also benefit our school. All students who donate will be entered into a drawing to win 2 Braves tickets!

The Cobb Schools Foundation is the only non-profit organization that supports all our schools, staff & students in Cobb County School District.  All funds collected will directly benefit our schools through Foundation supported scholarships, grants and programs for our schools, staff & students.

Help us reach our goal of 100% participation, please make a $5 tax-deductible contribution and return it to school today!  Payment envelopes were sent home on February 4th.
