Conference Week

Thank you so much for attending your child's conference. The student lead conferences were a great way to allow the students to be in control of their learning and made them feel so important. I appreciate all of your support in your child's education. It was so great to meet with you  and celebrate your child's success.

This week we started a measurement unit in math. We are estimating and measuring using centimeters and meters. The students practiced measuring and estimating using pumpkins. They  had a great time!

We are also learning a new stratgey. It is called Adding Up In Chunks. Next week we will work more with this strategy using it to solve subtraction word problems.
