Measurement

Today we had a super fun Thinking Thursday challenge. The students were asked to use 1 piece of paper and create the longest paper chain they could. We compared our chains to see whose was the longest and shortest. If you would like to extend this activity at how, you can ask your child to create a new chain using what they learned and see if they can build a longer one. Or have a family challenge! We are practicing using words like longer than and shorter than as well as using nonstandard units of measure.
