Good morning students and parents,
I hope this Monday meets everyone feeling safe, healthy, and happy! This week’s activities will continue to include spelling words / phonics, math, reading, writing, social studies, and additionally an Earth Day STEM on Wednesday! You will notice that some activities will have “(Assessment)” written after the subject title. All teachers have been asked to continue taking grades on the standards that can be appropriately completed and reviewed digitally. What this means is that if your child works hard to complete the assignment correctly, they will receive a 3 on their report card. All students are still expected to complete each daily assignment as they have been planned to help continue your child's preparation for second grade. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Monday, April 20th
- Reading: 15 minutes of reading on either Raz-Kids, Reading Eggs, Epic or read your favorite book and send a picture of you reading it.
- Phonics: found, how, ground, now, house, plow, while, themselves, without, probably
- Math: Dreambox Math (10 min) Complete math workbook pages 693 – 696. Send a picture of your completed work.
- Social Studies (Assessment): Use Clever to go to the Social Studies Weekly application, click on the 1st grade magazine and find the weekly on Ruby Bridges– read through the weekly (don’t forget the bonus resources!). On a sheet of paper or in your homework journal answer the three yes/no questions and the three fact/opinion questions. Take a picture of your answers and send them on Dojo.
