Folktale, Fairytale, and Fable Day

Our first Fairytale day was a great success! The students really enjoyed dressing up and visiting the  classrooms to hear different stories and participate in fun activities. They heard the folktale Stone Soup and had a cup of delicious soup. They read The Magic Fish and enjoyed a goldfish snack and created their own magical fish. Finally they read Hansel and Gretel  and built their own candy houses.  Here are a few pictures from our celebration and the student's projects.
