This week we have been working on telling time. We have asked the students to read clocks and show the given time on a clock by drawing in the hour and minute hands. Here is a link to some fun games to practice telling time!

MLK Field Trip
WE had a fantastic time on our field trip to The Martin Luther King Center. The students saw a storyteller who matched folktales to Dr. King's message. They walked through his childhood home and saw where he was born and where he grew up. We saw personal effects like clothing and awards. They were able to sit in Ebenezer Baptist Church and listen to his words. We also saw his final resting place. The students were amazed and moved.

Happy 100th Day!
This week we celebrated the 100th day of school. The students had 9 fun filled centers to choose from. They included putting together a 100 piece puzzle, making a 100 piece Lego creation, thinking about what it would be like to be 100 years old, and everyone's favorite 100 day snack mix. Thanks for all of your snack donations, the students had a super time!
